- I have managed to make my system work so that my Fidonet mailer can
- recognise FAX or data calls. I cannot remember the whole string but the
- part which sets the modem to that detection is:
-
- ATZ|~~AT+FCLASS=2.0|~AT+FAA=1+FLI="Keith's Point BBS"
-
- The pipe character issues a Return and the tilde adds a delay to allow
- the modem to come back to command mode after reacting to the previous
- instruction. I get +Fdm returned by the modem when it reacts to a data
- call. I don't know what a FAX return is as no-one's FAXed the system yet!
- :)
-
- The program I'm using is Binkley Term on the Atari ST and although that
- uses ATA| to force an answer I don't see why that would make a
- difference.
